THE ANNUNCIATOR RETURNS!!!

With all their top television personalities already in Vancouver for the Olympics, TSN appears to be having trouble finding hosts for Sportscentre. For the first time in years and perhaps ever, both last night’s 10pm ET and 2am ET Sportscentre went to air with only one host. Lucky for us, that host was none other than “The Annunciator” herself, Kate Beirness (click here for the first Beirness post).

While Kate teamed with Joe Tilley over the weekend, on Monday she was riding solo. Which begs the question, what happened to Joe Tilley? Did he have a league bowling game? Did he promise his wife he’d watch The Bachelor? Did he need the extra time to answer old fan mail?

Actually, he probably wasn’t asked. With Dan O’Toole and Cory Woron throwing to all the Olympic stories from Vancouver (filling-up at least half the show), TSN now only needs one host in Toronto. Which means, of course, this post was a complete waste of your time…until now that is.
