at the time in question, mcguire had his hand down the pants of mike “leadership” richards. mcguire has had his hand down richards’ pants for the last year(one of the reasons for richards’ poor play leading up to the olympics). richards’ locker was approximately 3 meters from Crosby’s locker in the canadian dressing room(can’t put flyers & penguins too close together). based on this, it would be very difficult for mcguire to be the culprit.

i suspect it ovechkin who stayed at the games after his teammates left and is desperate to win… anything.
