Doug MacLean reads The Steve Network

The Steve Network has hit the big time. Well, sort of. On Tuesday afternoon, Doug MacLean mentioned my “Pierre McGuire stealing Sidney Crosby’s jockstrap” article on Sportsnet’s Hockey Central . Sure it was on one of those televised radio shows, but national TV is national TV. The former Jackets general manager actually brought up the story on three separate occasions, take a look:

On a completely unrelated note, what’s it going to take to get Doug MacLean running an NHL franchise again? The guy is a damn genius. I know you remember him leading the Panthers to the Stanley Cup in ‘96. Truly, a great man.

I love that pony commercial too, but I still think 60% of people I know have seen that commercial but about 10% of those know what the commercial is for.

HAHA! That’s amazing. Dough McLean is easily one of the dumbest men in hockey, but I can respect his distain for Pierre McGuire. Hilarious.

    “Looks like we maaaaddddeeee iiiitttttt!”

I generally smoke cigars and drink scotch with ‘the man’. I do like time by myself…
