I was wondering where Dave got to and found this via Google. I can’t believe the stink raised as I watched all the sledge hockey games and when this was said on air I never gave it even a second thought. I think the producer way over re-acted and read way too much into it. It seems like he was just waiting to jump on Dave’s back about something. I’m very disappointed in the reactions and comments after this WAY over inflated situation! Did someone call and complain? I doubt it as to how fast the reaction. In television rule #1 “Do not attract attention to errors”. If they are quite noticeable then respond. This would have never came out if it was just left to slide and then take up after the cast or during intermission that the “possibility” that that might have been misunderstood as making fun of the athletes. I’m looking forward to Dave’s return as I find him the best of personalities there. (no disrespect to the other great anchors) As for Brian Williams, no comment.

I’m in awe of your commitment as Canada’s Sports Follower. How someone could actually watching this game close enough to catch those “snide” remarks is amazing. I’m sure the other two viewers didn’t even notice. Thank you for not allowing Randorf’s bigotry to go unnoticed.
