Not everyone has the time to sift through every TV preview, but I work for the government. If you find yourself wondering what good shows will be on this fall, but don’t want to bother doing the legwork, you have come to the right place.
ABC
Better With You (ABC) – Wednesday 8:30pm – Premieres Sept. 22

The pitch: Featuring three couples – one dating for nine years, one engaged after seven weeks and one unhappily married for multiple decades. Starring the mom from That 70s Show.
My take: Canned laughter and predictable comedy. If you like Big Bang Theory, tune in folks.
Competition: Survivor, Lie to Me and Undercovers.

I am a potato chip connoisseur. I guarantee I have tried more flavours than you. Every time I leave my house, I seek out new brands. I even explored the idea of having a nacho train at my wedding.
During the Super Bowl, snack holiday of the year, many chip mistakes were made around the continent. I could bear it no longer. I had to do something. I had to make a difference. So, with March Madness just around the corner, I’m sharing my chip wisdom with all of you.

Like the knowledge fathers give to their sons, and mothers share with their daughters, what I’m about to tell you must be passed on through the generations.

I was there when Kovalev returned from being benched to score a goal and two assists vs. Ottawa on Hockey Day in Canada. And I almost cried when Montreal fans finally forgave Roy.
But of all the memories, the one I remember most is watching Montreal destroy Boston 7-1 at the old Forum. I was only ten. A Habs and Bruins fan started scrapping in our section when suddenly the Montreal fan cracked the Bruins guy over the head with a beer bottle (back when they were still allowed), splitting him wide open. As security escorted the bloodied Boston fan out of the rink our section rose to its feet in unison, singing “Na na na na…Na, na, na, na…hey, hey-ey, goodbye.” What a rivalry.
